【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationgivesguidanceontheimplementationoftheconceptof"Guidetotheestimationofuncertaintyinmeasurement"(inshortGUM)tobeappliedinindustryforthecalibrationof(measurement)standardsandmeasuringequipmentinthefieldofGPSandthemeasurementofworkpieceGPS-characteristics.Theaimistopromotefullinformationonhowtoachieveuncertaintystatementsandprovidethebasisforinternationalcomparisonofresultsofmeasurementsandtheiruncertainties(relationshipbetweenpurchaserandsupplier).ThisTechnicalSpecificationisintendedtosupportISO14253-1.ThisTechnicalSpecificationandISO14253-1arebeneficialtoalltechnicalfunctionsinacompanyintheinterpretationofGPSspecifications(i.e.tolerancesofworkpiececharacteristicsandvaluesofmaximumpermissibleerrors(MPE)formetrologicalcharacteristicsofmeasuringequipment).ThisTechnicalSpecificationintroducestheProcedureforUncertaintyMAnagement(PUMA),whichisapractical,iterativeprocedurebasedontheGUMforestimatinguncertaintyofmeasurementwithoutchangingthebasicconceptsoftheGUMandisintendedtobeusedgenerallyforestimatinguncertaintyofmeasurementandgivingstatementsofuncertaintyfor:—singleresultsofmeasurement;—comparisonoftwoormoreresultsofmeasurement;—comparisonofresultsofmeasurement—fromoneormoreworkpiecesorpiecesofmeasurementequipment—withgivenspecifications[i.e.maximumpermissibleerrors(MPE)forametrologicalcharacteristicofameasurementinstrumentormeasurementstandard,andtolerancelimitsforaworkpiececharacteristic,etc.],forprovingconformanceornon-conformancewiththespecification.Theiterativemethodisbasedbasicallyonanupperboundstrategy,i.e.overestimationoftheuncertaintyatalllevels,buttheiterationscontroltheamountofoverestimation.Intentionaloverestimation—andnotunder-estimation—isnecessarytopreventwrongdecisionsbasedonmeasurementresults.Theamountofoverestimationshallbecontrolledbyeconomicalevaluationofthesituation.Theiterativemethodisatooltomaximizeprofitandminimizecostinthemetrologicalactivitiesofacompany.Theiterativemethod/procedureiseconomicallyself-adjustingandisalsoatooltochange/reduceexistinguncertaintyinmeasurementwiththeaimofreducingcostinmetrology(manufacture).Theiterativemethodmakesitpossibletocompromisebetweenrisk,effortandcostinuncertaintyestimationandbudgeting.
