【摘要】:Theinductionperiodmaybeusedasanindicationoftheoxidationandstoragestabilityofsparkignitionfuel.Comparedtosomeotheroxidationandstoragestabilitytestmethods,thistestmethodusesasmallsampleandgivesaresultinashorttimeperiod.1.1Thislaboratorytestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofthestabilityofsparkignitionfuel,includingthosecontainingalcoholsorotheroxygenates,underacceleratedoxidationconditions,byanautomaticinstrument(Warning8212;Thistestmethodisnotintendedfordeterminingthestabilityofgasolinecomponents,particularlythosewithahighpercentageoflowboilingunsaturatedcompounds,asthesecancauseexplosiveconditionswiththeapparatus.)1.2Thistestmethodmeasurestheinductionperiod,underspecifiedconditions,whichcanbeusedasanindicationoftheoxidationandstoragestabilityofsparkignitionfuel.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
