【摘要】:MHEG-5enginesaresystemorapplicationcomponentsthathandle,interpretandpresentMHEG-5objects.ThescopeofthispartofISOAEC13522istodefineatestsuitethatcanbeusedtotestanMHEG-5engine’sconformancetoaspecificapplicationdomain.Italsodefinesaformatfortestcasesthatcanbeusedtoextendthetestsuite,eitherformoredetailedtestingorforextensionsdefinedbytheapplicationdomain.ItisbeyondthescopeofthispartofISOAEC13522todefinetestsforengineperformance,enginememoryusageorforMHEG-5applicationsthatrunontheseengines.ThispartoftheISOAEC13522specifiestestcasesforallfeaturesofISOAEC13522-5:1997.ApplicationdomainsdefineasubsefofMHEG-5featuresthatmustbesupported.Inordertotestconformancetoaspecificapplicationdomain,acorrespondingsubsefofthetestcasesmustbedefined.Thissubsetofthetestsuiteisthenusedtotesttheconformanceoftheengine.ThispartofISOAEC13522testsconformanceofthebehaviourofanMHEGengine.ItdoesnotvalidatethephysicalpresentationofMHEG-5objects.Thetestsuitecomprisesasetoftestcasesandacorrespondingsetoftestobjects.Thetestcasesaredefinedintermsof:-testpurpose;-objectsandprocedureswhicharetobeusedtotestoneormoreMHEG-5features;-expectedresult.Asetofcontentdatawillbeprovidedforthetestobjects.ThesecontentdataareintendedasaguideforgeneratingatestsuiteandshouldbeconvertedorreplacedbycontentformatsappropriatetotheApplicationDomain.AtestsuiteforanApplicationDomainshallbegeneratedbyusingthePICStemplateinsubclause9.2.1PICSTemplate.
