【摘要】:Theelectricaloutputofphotovoltaicdevicesisdependentonthespectralcontentofthesourceilluminationanditsintensity.Tomakeaccuratemeasurementsoftheperformanceofphotovoltaicdevicesunderavarietyoflightsources,itisnecessarytoaccountfortheerrorintheshort-circuitcurrentthatoccursiftherelativespectralresponseoftheprimaryreferencecellisnotidenticaltothespectralresponseofthecelltobecalibrated.Asimilarerroroccursifthespectralirradiancedistributionofthetestlightsourceisnotidenticaltothedesiredreferencespectralirradiancedistribution.TheseerrorsareaccountedforbythespectralmismatchparameterM(TestMethodE973),aquantitativemeasureoftheerrorintheshort-circuitcurrentmeasurement.Itistheintentofthistestmethodtoprovidearecognizedprocedureforcalibrating,characterizing,andreportingthecalibrationdataforsecondaryphotovoltaicreferencecells.Asecondaryreferencecelliscalibratedtothesamereferencespectralirradiancedistributionastheprimaryreferencecellusedduringthecalibration.PrimaryreferencecellscanbecalibratedbyuseofTestMethodE1125orTestMethodE1039.Note18212;Nostandardsforcalibrationofreferencecellstotheextraterrestrialspectralirradiancedistributionpresentlyexist.Asecondaryreferencecellshouldberecalibratedyearly,oreverysixmonthsifthecellisincontinuoususeoutdoors.RecommendedphysicalcharacteristicsofreferencecellsareprovidedinSpecificationE1040.Becausesiliconsolarcellsmadeonp-typesubstratesaresusceptibletoalossofIscuponinitialexposuretolight,itisrequiredthatnewlymanufacturedreferencecellsbelightsoakedatanirradiancelevelgreaterthan850W/m2for2hpriortoinitialcharcterizationinSection7.1.1Thistestmethodcoverscalibrationandcharacterizationofsecondaryterrestrialphotovoltaicreferencecellstoadesiredreferencespectralirradiancedistribution.TherecommendedphysicalrequirementsforthesereferencecellsaredescribedinSpecificationE1040.Referencecellsareprincipallyusedinthedeterminationoftheelectricalperformanceofaphotovoltaicdevice.1.2Secondaryreferencecellsarecalibratedindoorsusingsimulatedsunlightoroutdoorsinnaturalsunlightbyreferencetoaprimaryreferencecellpreviouslycalibratedtothesamedesiredreferencespectralirradiancedistribution.1.3Secondaryreferencecellscalibratedaccordingtothistestmethodwillhavethesameradiometrictraceabilityastheoftheprimaryreferencecellusedforthecalibration.Therefore,iftheprimaryreferencecellistraceabletotheWorldRadiometricReference(WRR,seeTestMethodE816),theresultingsecondaryreferencecellwillalsobetraceabletotheWRR.1.4Thistestmethodappliesonlytothecalibrationofaphotovoltaiccellthatdemonstratesalinearshort-circuitcurrentversusirradiancecharacteristicoveritsintendedrangeofuse,asdefinedinTestMethodE1143.1.5Thistestmethodappliesonlytothecalibrationofaphotovoltaiccellthathasbeenfabricatedusingasinglephotovoltaicjunction.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
