【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsfortheoptionalcontinuouscharacterandcolourmarkingofferriticandausteniticsteeltubesthatareusedinthefabricationofpip-ingsystems.Thecolourcodingspecifiedcanalsobeusedforthemarkingoffittingsandcomponents(see6.2.3).Itcoversspecificrequirementsfordefinitivematerialidentifica-tionbytheuseofprintedcharacterswhichareappliedrepetitively(continuously)alongthelengthofthetube,andforthecolourcodingofdiscretegroupsofsteels.Thecolourcod-ingmaybespecifiedattheoptionofthepurchaserandisin-tendedforuseonlyinconjunctionwiththedefinitivecharactermarkingrequirementsgiveninclause5.IntheabsenceofasuitableInternationalStandarddefiningcolourssuitableforuseincolourcoding,annexAmakesreferencetocertainequivalentcolourcodesgiveninnationalstandardswhichmaybeused.ItisrecognizedthatthisInternationalStandardcanonlybeappliedbyagreementbetweenthepartiesconcerned.
